Terms of Service.

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are using Plotwist on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.

Plotwist lets you generate custom party games — such as bingo, would-you-rather, and trivia — from prompts you provide, then share and play them. Games are generated using AI, so output may vary and is not guaranteed to be accurate, appropriate, or error-free.

We use passwordless “magic link” sign-in: you enter your email and we send you a one-time link to log in. You are responsible for keeping access to your email account secure, and for all activity that happens under your account. Let us know promptly if you suspect unauthorized use.

You agree not to use the Service, or the prompts and content you submit, to create, generate, or distribute material that is:

• •illegal, or that promotes or facilitates illegal activity;
• •hateful, harassing, threatening, or that targets people based on protected characteristics;
• •sexually explicit involving minors, or otherwise exploitative of children;
• •violating others’ privacy or intellectual-property rights;
• •spam, malware, or an attempt to disrupt or abuse the Service.

We may use automated and manual moderation to enforce these rules, and we may remove content or suspend accounts that violate them.

You keep ownership of the prompts you submit and the games generated for you (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, display, and — where you ask us to — publish or share Your Content, solely to operate and provide the Service. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights to submit it.

Plotwist offers both one-time purchases (pay-per-game) and subscriptions. Payments are processed by Stripe, and by purchasing you also agree to Stripe’s terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can cancel at any time and keep access through the end of the paid period.

Games created on the free tier expire and are removed 5 days after creation. Prices and plans may change; we will give notice of material changes to recurring pricing. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

We provide the Service on an “as available” basis and do not guarantee any specific level of uptime or availability.

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. AI-generated content may be inaccurate or unsuitable; you are responsible for reviewing it before use.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Plotwist and its suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profits. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we reasonably need to protect the Service or other users. On termination, your right to use the Service ends; sections that by their nature should survive (such as content licenses granted to us for already-published content, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be subject to the courts located in [Your jurisdiction].
